Ann Riemenschneider, Principal

Ms. Riemenschneider's journey into education was influenced by her childhood experiences as the daughter of a United States Air Force serviceman. These experiences allowed her to enjoy a diverse range of educational opportunities in both the United States and Europe. Her career in education began when she worked as a paraprofessional at Mooseheart School, a residential facility in Batavia, Illinois. In 1994, Ms. Riemenschneider joined District 65 and has been a part of the Chute family for three decades. She began teaching Literature/Language Arts and Math, then for 16 years served in the role of assistant principal. Ms. Riemenschneider's primary goal in her educational career is to help students grow not only academically but also socially and emotionally during their time at Chute. This reflects her commitment to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Principal Riemenschneider has been long known for her capacity to be a true team player and a mentor to new school leaders. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Cincinnati Christian University and then a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Phoenix. Her passion for education stems from a belief in the true positive impact that education can have on students’ lives.

Eboni Dixon, Assistant Principal

With over 20 years of experience in education, including the last five in leadership roles, Ms. Dixon brings a deep commitment to cultivating inclusive, student-centered school communities. She began her career as a classroom teacher, spending most of her time in first grade and teaching students from preschool through ninth grade. She has since served as a diversity, equity and inclusion director; assistant principal; and as the leader of impactful district-level initiatives within Chicago Public Schools.

Assistant Principal Dixon's educational philosophy centers on creating emotionally and physically safe environments where all members of the school community feel seen, heard, and valued. She is passionate about providing "window and mirror" experiences that allow students and staff to explore new perspectives and reflect on their identities. Outside of school, she enjoys crafts, movies, travel, and time with her family.
