High Flying Eagles-The Chute Choice!
Be Respectful! Be Responsible! Be Successful!
The purpose of the High Flying Eagle Program is to honor “Outstanding Students” who have demonstrated the Chute Choice by being respectful, responsible and successful students. Chute's High Flying Eagles demonstrate positive energy and "Eagle Pride" in the classrooms of Chute Middle School. The High Flying Eagle Program formally acknowledges the many positive accomplishments and behaviors of the students of Chute Middle School.
Each trimester, faculty members nominate deserving students as a “High Flying Eagle." All "High Flying Eagles" are honored at a special assembly. The families of all our student honorees are also invited to attend and to participate in this assembly. There is a guest speaker, the presentation of certificates, Eagle Wrist Bands, and Bumper Stickers and entertainment. Our principal, Mr. McHolland, with the help of our staff and funding from the Chute Middle School P.T.A., hosts a reception in the school cafeteria where, as a community, we celebrate with pride the accomplishments of our students. The names of all our "High Flying Eagles" are displayed on the bulletin board outside the Main Office.
