Parent/Student Handbook
This handbook is published annually. It serves as a resource guide for parents/guardians and their school-age children about academic and behavioral expectations. The handbook is published in English and Spanish. It is available online. Printed copies are available upon request from the school office.  
Annually families are required to sign an acknowledgement form to affirm their understanding of the responsibility to know and adhere to the expectations set out in the handbook.  Beginning with the 2013-14 school year, families must complete the acknowledgement form and submit it using this link:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/26FT989


School Board-Adopted Student Discipline Policy

Alternative to Suspension
The student handbook lists behavioral expectations and consequences, that may include suspension from school. District 65 offers an Alternative to Suspension program for eligible students.  Click on the attached file to learn more.

Anti-bullying Information Guide
In August 2010, the an informational guide was prepared to help inform parents and others about District policy and procedures to deter and prevent bullying.   Bullying_Informational_Guide.pdf
Families may contact their child's school for more detailed information about school implementation of these practices. More resources and information are available for parents, teens, and educators on the Illinois Attorney General's Office website.
